This Section will perform the following activities:-

• Develop, interpret and implement cardiology and cardiothoracic policy;
• Attend patients in accordance with policies and guidelines;
• Screen patients with cardio-vascular diseases;
• Develop and implement Clinical, Medical and prescribing guidelines;
• Support and uphold a strong emphasis on medical ethics and governance;
• Run outpatient clinics;
• Handle emergency cases; and
• Collaborate with other sections in executing its functions
