This Section will perform the following activities: -

• Provide safe, supportive and comprehensive care to patients requiring surgical services;
• Create and maintain an aseptic environment for patients and staff;
• Set standard operating procedures for Operating Theatre staff;
• Control linen, instruments and equipment for Operating Theatre;
• Coordinate resources required for surgical procedures,
• Schedule and admit patients to the operating room services; and
• Observe safety and well being of patients and staff in the Operating rooms
