This Unit shall be headed by a Director appointed by the Hospital Governing Board to control and supervise the provision and proper functioning of ICT Services and shall perform the following activities: -
- Provide user support services;
- Carryout minor repairs of ICT equipment and systems;
- Develop and implement programs for security of ICT infrastructure and systems;
- Develop and implement appropriate databases to optimize computerized system in health service delivery;
- Integrate ICT operations, computer hardware, operating systems, communications, software applications and data processing;
- Oversee proper functioning of ICT infrastructures;
- Assess service rendered by external IT contractors;
- Administer Service Level Agreements supplied by IT systems vendors;
- Develop and implement training programs for IT infrastructure users;
- Provide advice on all matters relating to ICT;
